Rates

$450 per hour. The rate for a full day mediation is $4,000 and includes up to 9 hours of mediation time.  Full day mediations are typically from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The rate for a half-day is $2,000 and includes up to 4.50 hours of mediation time. Half-day mediations are typically from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A special rate of $1,250 for a 3-hour mediation applies to disputes where the amount in controversy is less than $75,000 and the mediation is held at counsel’s office.

No other charges

There are no administrative fees. There are no additional fees for Saturday mediations. There are no charges for travel time within California.

Cari serves Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.  However, special arrangements can be made for travel to other locations.

Mediations usually are conducted at U.S. Legal Support in Costa Mesa with no additional charges to the parties. However, mediations may be conducted at counsel’s office at no additional charge.

Continuation – Cancellation Policy

Dates tentatively reserved are not deemed confirmed until payment is received in full. Pre-paid fees are fully refundable until seven days before the reserved date. Cancellations with less than seven days notice will be charged 50% of the pre-paid fee. There are no fees to reschedule the mediation, so long as notice is given 2 full business days prior to the reserved date. Rescheduling requests less than 2 full business days prior to the reserved date will incur a fee of $500.
